Tortilla Rollups are a quick and easy appetizer made by spreading a flavorful filling on soft tortillas, rolling them up, and slicing into bite-sized pinwheels—perfect for parties or snacks.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • ¼ cup chopped green onions
  • ¼ cup diced green chilies (optional)
  • ¼ tsp garlic powder
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 5 large flour tortillas

Instructions

  1. Prepare Filling:
    In a medium bowl, mix together the cream cheese, sour cream, shredded cheddar, green onions, green chilies (if using), garlic powder, and salt until smooth and well combined.
  2. Assemble Rollups:
    Lay out each tortilla and spread an even layer of the filling mixture over the entire surface.
  3. Roll and Chill:
    Roll each tortilla up tightly, then wrap in plastic wrap. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour to firm up for easier slicing.
  4. Slice and Serve:
    Remove the rolls from the fridge and slice into 1-inch pinwheels. Serve chilled or at room temperature.
