Ingredients
- 1 can (15 oz) chickpeas, drained and rinsed
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika (smoked or regular)
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional for spice)
Optional Seasoning Variations:
- Ranch: Add 1/2 teaspoon dried dill & onion powder
- BBQ: Add 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika & a pinch of brown sugar
- Lemon Pepper: Add 1/2 teaspoon lemon zest & black pepper

Instructions
Preheat & Prep: Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Drain and rinse chickpeas, then pat them completely dry with a paper towel (moisture prevents crispiness).
Season the Chickpeas: Spread chickpeas on a baking sheet and toss with olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
Roast: Bake for 25–30 minutes, shaking the pan halfway through, until golden and crispy.
Cool & Serve: Let the chickpeas cool for 5 minutes (they crisp up more as they cool). Enjoy as a snack or salad topper!

Notes
For Extra Crispiness: Roast at 375°F for 10 minutes, then increase to 400°F for another 15–20 minutes.
Storage: Store in an airtight container at room temp for up to 3 days (they soften over time).
Make It Sweet: Toss with cinnamon and honey for a dessert-style treat.
