Description

A fun and flavorful pizza-inspired salad loaded with your favorite toppings like pepperoni, mozzarella, and olives, tossed in a zesty Italian dressing. A low-carb way to enjoy the taste of pizza!

Ingredients

  • 4 cups romaine lettuce, chopped
  • 1/2 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1/2 cup mini pepperoni slices
  • 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese, cubed or shredded
  • 1/4 cup black olives, sliced
  • 1/4 cup red bell pepper, diced
  • 1/4 cup red onion, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/4 cup Italian dressing
  • Optional: 1/4 cup croutons or mini pizza crust chips

Instructions

  1. In a large salad bowl, combine the romaine lettuce, cherry tomatoes, pepperoni, mozzarella, olives, red bell pepper, and red onion.
  2. Sprinkle the dried oregano over the top for added pizza flavor.
  3. Drizzle with Italian dressing and toss to combine thoroughly.
  4. Add croutons or mini crust chips if using, just before serving for crunch.
  5. Serve immediately or chill for 10–15 minutes before serving.

Notes

For a healthier version, use turkey pepperoni and low-fat cheese.
