Description

Pizza Poppers are bite-sized, cheesy, and full of classic pizza flavor. Stuffed with marinara, mozzarella, and pepperoni, these mini snacks are perfect for parties, game day, or quick kid-friendly treats.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 can refrigerated biscuit dough (8-count)

  • 1/2 cup marinara or pizza sauce

  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

  • 1/2 cup mini pepperoni slices or chopped pepperoni

  • 2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder

  • 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a mini muffin tin.

  • Separate the biscuit dough and flatten each piece into a 3-inch circle.

  • In the center of each dough round, place a small spoonful of marinara, a bit of mozzarella, and a few pepperoni pieces.

  • Fold the dough edges over the filling and pinch tightly to seal, forming a ball.

  • Place each ball seam-side down into the mini muffin tin cups.

  • Brush tops with olive oil and sprinkle with garlic powder, Italian seasoning, and Parmesan cheese.

  • Bake for 12–15 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.

  • Let cool slightly, then serve warm with extra marinara for dipping.

Notes

  • Crescent roll dough or pizza dough can be used instead of biscuit dough.

  • Customize the filling with cooked sausage, sautéed mushrooms, or diced veggies.

  • For crispier tops, bake uncovered on a sheet pan instead of in a muffin tin.
