Ingredients

Scale: 1x

  • 1 can refrigerated biscuit dough (8-count)
  • 1/2 cup marinara or pizza sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup mini pepperoni slices or chopped pepperoni
  • 2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a mini muffin tin.
  2. Separate the biscuit dough and flatten each piece into a 3-inch circle.
  3. In the center of each dough round, place a small spoonful of marinara, a bit of mozzarella, and a few pepperoni pieces.
  4. Fold the dough edges over the filling and pinch tightly to seal, forming a ball.
  5. Place each ball seam-side down into the mini muffin tin cups.
  6. Brush tops with olive oil and sprinkle with garlic powder, Italian seasoning, and Parmesan cheese.
  7. Bake for 12–15 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.
  8. Let cool slightly, then serve warm with extra marinara for dipping.

Notes

  • Crescent roll dough or pizza dough can be used instead of biscuit dough.
  • Customize the filling with cooked sausage, sautéed mushrooms, or diced veggies.
  • For crispier tops, bake uncovered on a sheet pan instead of in a muffin tin.
