- 1 loaf French bread or Italian bread, sliced in half lengthwise
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- Optional: grated Parmesan cheese for topping

Instructions
- Preheat grill to medium heat (about 375°F / 190°C).
- In a small bowl, combine butter, garlic, parsley, salt, and pepper.
- Spread the garlic butter evenly over the cut sides of the bread.
- Place bread cut side down directly on the grill grates.
- Grill for 2–4 minutes until toasted with visible grill marks. Watch closely to avoid burning.
