Description
The Blooming Burrito Ring is a fun, crowd-pleasing twist on burritos, made by wrapping seasoned beef and cheese in crescent rolls and arranging them in a ring shape, then baking until golden and bubbly.
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 packet taco seasoning
- 2/3 cup water
- 1 cup refried beans
- 1 cup shredded cheddar or Mexican blend cheese
- 2 cans refrigerated crescent roll dough
- 1/4 cup chopped green onions (optional)
- Sour cream, salsa, and guacamole for serving

Instructions
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat. Add taco seasoning and water to the skillet. Simmer until thickened, about 5 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in refried beans and cheese. Unroll crescent dough and separate into triangles. Arrange the triangles in a circular pattern on the prepared baking sheet with the wide ends toward the center and the tips pointing outward, overlapping slightly to form a ring. Spoon the beef mixture evenly onto the wide ends of the dough triangles. Fold the tips of the triangles over the filling and tuck them under the ring to seal. Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from oven and let cool slightly. Garnish with chopped green onions, if using. Serve with sour cream, salsa, and guacamole in the center of the ring or on the side.

Notes
Use a pizza cutter to slice and serve clean portions. Swap beef with shredded chicken or black beans for variation. Great for parties, game day, or a fun family dinner.
