Description

Crispy, juicy, and packed with flavor — these Smash Cheeseburger Tacos combine the best of a burger and taco in one bite. Quick, easy, and perfect for a satisfying meal!

Ingredients

• Small tortillas
• Ground beef (about ¼ cup per taco)
• Salt, to taste
• Cooking spray
• Cheese slices (optional)
• Your favorite burger toppings (lettuce, pickles, burger sauce, onions, etc.)

Instructions

Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (205°C) and let it preheat for 5 minutes.
Spread about ¼ cup of ground beef evenly over each tortilla, pressing the meat all the way to the edges. Lightly season with salt and spray with cooking spray.
Place tortillas meat-side up in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Cook at 400°F (205°C) for about 5 minutes, or until the beef is fully cooked and the tortilla is crisp.
Top each taco with a slice of cheese (if using) and return to the air fryer with the heat off for 1 minute, allowing the cheese to melt.

Notes

Tortilla size: Use street taco-size tortillas for the perfect hand-held bite.
Ground beef tip: Choose 80/20 ground beef for the best balance of flavor and crisp.
Batch cooking: Cook in batches to avoid overcrowding and ensure even crisping.
Sauce ideas: Try classic burger sauce, spicy mayo, or garlic aioli.
Storage: Best served fresh, but leftovers can be reheated in the air fryer at 375°F for 2–3 minutes.
