Ingredients

Scale

For the Steak Bites:

  • 1.5 lbs (680 g) sirloin steak, cut into 1-inch cubes

  • Salt and black pepper, to taste

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, divided

  • 6 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves

  • 1 teaspoon fresh rosemary leaves, chopped

  • 1 teaspoon fresh parsley, chopped

For the Parmesan Cream Sauce:

  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 cup heavy cream

  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

  • Salt and black pepper, to taste

Instructions

1. Prepare the Steak Bites:

  1. Season the steak cubes generously with salt and black pepper.

  2. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add olive oil and 2 tablespoons of butter.

  3. Once the butter is melted and the pan is hot, add steak in a single layer without overcrowding.

  4. Sear for 3–4 minutes, turning occasionally to brown all sides to your preferred doneness.

  5. Remove steak from the skillet and set aside.

2. Make the Garlic Herb Butter:

  1. In the same skillet, melt the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter.

  2. Add the minced garlic, thyme, rosemary, and parsley. Sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.

  3. Return the steak bites to the skillet and toss to coat in the garlic herb butter.

  4. Cook for another 1–2 minutes. Remove from heat and set aside.

3. Prepare the Parmesan Cream Sauce:

  1. In a separate skillet, melt 1 tablespoon of butter over medium heat.

  2. Add the garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.

  3. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Stir occasionally.

  4. Stir in Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning. Mix until the cheese has fully melted and the sauce is smooth.

  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Simmer for 2–3 minutes until slightly thickened.

4. Serve:

  • Pour the Parmesan cream sauce over the garlic butter steak bites, or serve it on the side as a dipping sauce.

  • Garnish with additional fresh parsley, if desired.

  • Serve immediately.

Notes

  • Substitute sirloin with ribeye or tenderloin for an extra luxurious texture.

  • For added richness, stir a splash of white wine into the cream sauce.

  • Add sautéed mushrooms or caramelized onions for a savory twist.
