Instructions

Prep the Bread
Butter one side of each slice of bread and set aside. -
Fry the Eggs
In a frying pan over low heat, melt a bit of butter.
Fry the eggs to your desired doneness—sunny-side up, over easy, or fully cooked.
Season with salt and pepper. Set eggs aside once done. -
Assemble the Sandwich
In a clean frying pan or griddle, place one slice of bread, buttered side down.
Layer with:-

Grill the Sandwich
Cover the pan with a lid and cook over medium-low heat until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is fully melted, flipping once halfway through.
Repeat for the second sandwich.
