  • Total Time: 32 minutes
  • Yield: 20 pigs in a blanket 1x

Description

These quick and easy Breakfast Pigs in a Blanket use just two ingredients—crescent dough and breakfast sausage links. Perfect for busy school mornings, weekend brunch, or as a freezer-friendly grab-and-go option.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 (8-ounce) package crescent roll dough sheets

  • 20 breakfast sausage links (from two 12-ounce packages)

Instructions

  • Preheat Oven:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  • Cook Sausage:
In a skillet over medium-low heat, cook the sausage links until fully cooked and the internal temperature reaches 160°F. Set aside to cool slightly.

  • Prepare Dough:
Unroll the crescent roll dough sheet on a clean surface. Cut into 20 equal rectangles.

  • Wrap the Sausages:
Place one cooked sausage link at the end of each piece of dough. Roll the dough around the sausage and place seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.

  • Bake:
Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until the dough is golden brown and cooked through.

  • Serve:
Serve warm as-is or with dipping sauces like maple syrup, honey mustard, or spicy ketchup.

Notes

  • This recipe makes 20 pigs in a blanket.

  • Two 12-ounce sausage packages will provide enough links, with a few extras for snacking or another meal.

  • These can be made ahead and frozen. To reheat, bake from frozen at 350°F for 10–12 minutes or until heated through.
