  • 4 large eggs
  • ½ cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 1 tablespoon butter (for cooking)

Instructions

  1. Cook the sausage links according to package directions. Set aside to cool slightly.
  2. While sausages are cooking, prepare the bread by trimming off the crusts and using a rolling pin to flatten each slice.
  3. In a shallow bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, vanilla extract, and cinnamon.
  4. Place one sausage at the end of a flattened bread slice and roll it up tightly. Secure with a toothpick if needed. Repeat with the remaining slices and sausages.
  5. Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat.
