Description
This Cinnamon-Sugar Pizza made with Crescent Rolls is a quick and easy dessert that tastes just like a warm, gooey cinnamon roll pizza. With its buttery, flaky crust and sweet cinnamon-sugar topping, it’s the perfect treat for any occasion. Plus, it only takes a few ingredients and less than 30 minutes to make!
Ingredients
- 1 can (8 oz) Crescent Roll dough (or similar pre-made dough)
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional, for added flavor)
- A pinch of salt (optional)
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Unroll the Crescent Roll dough and lay it out on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or a greased baking dish. Pinch the seams together to form a solid sheet of dough.
In a small bowl, mix the sugar and cinnamon together until well combined. Set aside.
Brush the melted butter over the dough, making sure to cover it evenly. You can also add a bit of vanilla extract to the melted butter for extra flavor if you like.
Evenly sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar mixture over the buttered dough. Be generous so every bite is sweet and spiced!
Bake the cinnamon-sugar pizza in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the dough is golden brown and the topping is slightly caramelized.
Once out of the oven, let the pizza cool slightly before cutting it into squares or wedges. You can serve it as-is or drizzle with a bit of glaze or cream cheese icing for an extra indulgent touch.
Notes
- Add Nutmeg – For an extra depth of flavor, add a pinch of ground nutmeg to the cinnamon-sugar mix.
- Make it a Glazed Dessert – Mix some powdered sugar with a little milk to create a glaze, then drizzle over the pizza after baking.
- Use Pie Dough – If you don’t have Crescent Rolls, you can also use pie dough for a thicker, more decadent crust.
- Toppings – Try adding chopped nuts like pecans or walnuts on top for added texture and flavor.
