Cinnamon-Sugar Pizza Made with Crescent Rolls

  • Author: baking

Description

This Cinnamon-Sugar Pizza made with Crescent Rolls is a quick and easy dessert that tastes just like a warm, gooey cinnamon roll pizza. With its buttery, flaky crust and sweet cinnamon-sugar topping, it’s the perfect treat for any occasion. Plus, it only takes a few ingredients and less than 30 minutes to make!

Ingredients

Scale

  • 1 can (8 oz) Crescent Roll dough (or similar pre-made dough)
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional, for added flavor)
  • A pinch of salt (optional)

Instructions

Step 1: Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

Step 2: Prepare the Crescent Roll Dough

Unroll the Crescent Roll dough and lay it out on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or a greased baking dish. Pinch the seams together to form a solid sheet of dough.

Step 3: Make the Cinnamon-Sugar Topping

In a small bowl, mix the sugar and cinnamon together until well combined. Set aside.

Step 4: Brush with Butter

Brush the melted butter over the dough, making sure to cover it evenly. You can also add a bit of vanilla extract to the melted butter for extra flavor if you like.

Step 5: Sprinkle Cinnamon-Sugar

Evenly sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar mixture over the buttered dough. Be generous so every bite is sweet and spiced!

Step 6: Bake

Bake the cinnamon-sugar pizza in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the dough is golden brown and the topping is slightly caramelized.

Step 7: Slice and Serve

Once out of the oven, let the pizza cool slightly before cutting it into squares or wedges. You can serve it as-is or drizzle with a bit of glaze or cream cheese icing for an extra indulgent touch.

Notes

  • Add Nutmeg – For an extra depth of flavor, add a pinch of ground nutmeg to the cinnamon-sugar mix.
  • Make it a Glazed Dessert – Mix some powdered sugar with a little milk to create a glaze, then drizzle over the pizza after baking.
  • Use Pie Dough – If you don’t have Crescent Rolls, you can also use pie dough for a thicker, more decadent crust.
  • Toppings – Try adding chopped nuts like pecans or walnuts on top for added texture and flavor.
